About Oscar Alexis

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and in 2015, an opportunity brought me to New Jersey to teach music. What began as a new chapter quickly became a passion—I’ve spent the last nine years making a difference in my students' lives, and I love what I do.

Alongside my teaching career, I’ve cultivated a deep love for photography. What started as a hobby seven years ago—dabbling in street, landscape, recital, and church photography—has since evolved into something much more meaningful. In 2019, I took the leap to add photography and videography to my professional work, and today, it’s become a second career driven by passion, purpose, and pure joy.

Photography allows me to tell stories, capture emotions, and document life's most precious moments. Whether it’s through the lens of a camera or the music I teach, both of my careers are rooted in a love for creativity and connection. I’m grateful every day to share in the beauty of others’ stories, and I can’t wait to capture yours.
